B Bro In Abu Dhabi

dHey Hey HEY!!! I'm StiLLL aLiVe KicKing HardEr thAn EveR!!! :P
Well well well.. sorry for my absence for the past weeks because *sigh*, as for some of you who are concerned about me, you would've heard bout the news that I was admitted to the hospital :)

I have one million words of experience to share with you guys on my 5 days 4 nights stay in the Loh Guan Lye 10 stars hotel but not in this post, cuz I've got better issues for coverage :D

Excitingly, it's all about my beloved bro's training-trip to Abu Dhabi!

And where's Abu Dhabi??????!
Here's Abu Dhabi!

Yeps! In the United Arab Emirates, land of the... cough*

Now, the prime question is...

What's the image that come into your mind when you hear about Arab??? Especially such ancient named place like Abu Dhabi??

As in how the place looks like??? Like what you've been seeing in the t.v? books? posters??? encyclopedias???

That it looks something like this????

Then you SARK!!! :O

..i..

Cuz it looks friggin' advanced like this!!
looks like Shanghai or Hong Kong :P

Just to share with you guys a lil about my brother's profession, he's actually attached to a German-based multi national company dealing with the oil and gas industry. Yerps! Usually, I'll be quite early alarmed on the market values and fluctuating prices of petrol :P

Myth: Main Reason for prices of petrol had increased and shall keep increasing in near future is due to shortage of natural sources of oil and gases on Earth!

Fact: It's just the fucking economy and certain powerful authorities controlling the game! Currency fluctuation + inflation sheetz!

Well, but that doesn't mean we do not have to put in effort to conserve our Earth energy :) It's going to run outs someday, but not so soon :P

Just several years serving for the company, he has travelled quite a number of times across the continents for training.
[My sister travels for free in fact paid to travel *envious*, my brother travels too and everything is paid for *double envious* and I want to too but currently still stuck in small Penang :( Breaking out if there's chance!]

He had been to big places like United States, United Kingdom and small places like Brunei and Indonesia so now he requested for training in a whole new place to him, Arab!

Off he went for 2 weeks to Abu Dhabi!

Him doing some friggin shopping!

Back in the golden years, when the economy was oozin good, the company actually sponsored his staffs to travel on Business Class on board! :O The business class stewardess thought that my bro + frenz were some kinda big shot and served them *floatingly* when in their pockets, they only had several hundred bucks of pounds! Hahahaha!!!
When your company pays for everything on a trip, you just sit back and rilek lah~ :P

Now when there's economy downturn, my bro's trip to Arab this time was just...... economical. Haha! He boarded economy class only... what a downturn LOLOLOLOLS! But no need pay, mai hiam la! :P

And there he posed happily with his training centre in Abu Dhabi!

It's pronounced as Slum-ber-jay!
Him and the palm tree!

Him and his trainers I supposed :P

Well, these 2 Caucasian dudes are not just any random posers cuz their salary are a whooping banana cream of 20-30K or even more but no less according to my bro :) Dirham is good enuff. My bro is dreaming to work there :P

There's no need to mention that these guys' salary are a whooping banana cream cuz ultimately a normal shopping mall or any random shop assistant's monthly salary reaches a blueberry muffin baking hot of 6-7K in Arab. In Dirham yes.. and 1 AED = MYR0.95.

It's indeed a land of the riches. And amazingly, the locals there Do Not Work! They own shops and businesses and they hire foreigners to work for them, majority Filipinos, Pakistanis & Indians. These people might be labours and low class there in Arab but back in their home town after saving the salary, they are rich in their own way back home :D

Yes, you ask: Why the locals there Do Not Work? And yes, because they Don't Have To! If your government is giving you 10K for free monthly, who needs to work? Lols! I couldn't believe either when my brother told me this but he said it's true cuz that's what his colleague says!

My bro UpGrAdeD!!

!*congrats congrats*!

Bro posing with his stuff!
alrite, he looks just as noob as ever >.<'

Bro calls it a day!
I'm going shopping again!

Well, the weather might seem good but my bro said, it WAS NOT cuz it was burning hot, literally. Much more than M'sia and for safety purposes, they have to wear that suit on site!

Basically, he had to re-hydrate himself every half an hour or so if not, can seriously die from dehydration! :O! And it's no joke. Alot of Indian and Pakistani construction workers there died from serious dehydration. They just passed out midst of working and pronounced dead the next minute! Money don't come free okay?

Since rain is IMPOSSIBLE in Arab during Summer, these construction workers actually camp openly on a large field and sleep overnight there. Eat there, sleep there and everthing's there :P That's how hard life is for these people. And the Arabians? 100% of them is 100% rich and nuff said.

It's amazing how unfair is this life :)

After training, my bro will loiter with his friends to shop for gifts and souvenirs. Things are generally not cheap over there. My brother got me this perfume & toiletries that's like, I've never heard of its brand, prolly their local brand called Fruits & Passion. When my bro told me how much it cost, I freaked out and started cursing like a bit*h!

Look at these few items:
a small bottle of peach perfume and body gel = 300+ Dirhams!

Alright, I like the gifts of course but it seriously doesn't worth the monay~~~!!!! And I think my bro just has this perfume and fragrance stuff fetish because till todate, he already bought me tonnes of them! Victoria's Secret, Calvin Klein Eternity, Litchi by DIor Addict and I'm already having a hard time finishing them, now more to come by Fruits & Passion! :D

I think I have a lifetime supply of fragrances already :) My future boyfriend to be must be damned pleased with this (save monay for Valentines, B'day, Anniversary) tssk tssk tssk!

It's just that, money is earned not dropped down from the sky, I just feel bad having him to spend unnecessarily. Nevertheless, I appreciate them. I have a collection-subconsciously :D

During his hunt, he saw a jaw dropping, saliva inducing chicken mogaritta mexico texas pie 4 million Dirhams worth of watch by dunno what friggin local brand. And he saw a nice handbag which he wanted to get for my mum that its price freaked a hell out of him that he fainted 3 times consecutively and walked away, still feeling bizarre that it's an unknown brand that prices its bag 5,000 Dirham :)

That's life in the Arab :)
Where money is really like papers :)

So in the end, these are what my bro got for souvenirs!

Bro unpacking his stuff!

0000 tht's mine!

The souvenir was given with a task!
I was assigned to check all his souvenirs for his friends are in good condition :(

They are erm... sandy albums.
7 different types of sands collected from 7 different places which make up UAE!
My brother keeps yakking bout the wonders of God and lalalala...
Special special*
It's like Nabi Muhammad all over again! swt :P

one of them cracked* :(

And I'm disappointed becuz there wasn't any local delicacies and food were brought back :( I thought I kept reminding him and sands were what I got :( Hahaha! Really makan pasiak* this time. Only a box of chocolate coated dates (yums)!

All in all, he had a great experience training in Abu Dhabi, Arab. At least he gets to see a different culture in life. When he was telling and sharing all his findings and experiences in Abu Dhabi, I found myself feeling like a little child listening to another child's fun trip to Disneyland. Only can imagine the fun and no real deal. Hee!

But! I'm always proud of my bro even though he's a bit NOOBIE DOODIE DOO. Haa! I want to be like my siblings too, travelling here and there for free someday! Yes, I'm cheapolata.. I don't like to pay for my own expenses :P

COincidently, when he touched down at Penang, he met this...

Dato' Haji Awang (forget bout the long name)

seriously i don't know who's that at all.. LOLS! Some big shot of PAS, that's what I know :P

And that's the end of the post about my bro & UAE!
Night!

Morning!

What should be the name of my NAMETAG?!
