Here Comes May!

HaRLoOOOO~~!!! Finally, I'm back to revive my blog! Hehehe.. You know what, it feels really awkward out of a sudden, after so long of not writing anything. It takes me a while to ponder around on how to start the post. Haha! It's not a good sign isn't it? :P

Well, it's not that I was lazy or anything but I was really caught up with tonnes of assignments, project file, prep for Cibtac exam: Practical, Oral & Theory. It was all.. over now. And March-April was such a stressful time for me. Anticipating this and that, tying the lose ends, pulling up the socks, one-two buckle the shoe, three-four shut the door.. (list goes on and on).

And I really understand what Zhi Xiang meant by his sleeping time just went unhealthy cuz mine did as well. Super duper unhealthy and hormonally IMBA! Haha.. Pimple attack all over again and that's why I said, I'm just gonna heal naturally this coming month. Recuperating Period now :)

This is my 100% completed Project File

throw you also can die err..

Mm keng mm kok, I have been in Stella-In for already 8 months which after completion of Cibtac Diploma, I'm technically a senior now. A senior that always late to class, a senior that skips classes, a senior that speaks broken mandarin and of course, a senior that handles waxing terribly... LOLS! But unexpectedly, I finished my waxing pretty fast and good during Practical Exam! Terlalu memuji diri.. Haha! Honours sure in hand?

HELL NO! LOLs. The theory paper was one hell of a crapsheet. I underestimated it.
Lols! 80 questions in 1 hour 30 minutes surely wasn't enough at all, asshole. And the usual questions in class were not even comparable to the standard of real Cibtac, asshole. Guess I just didn't prepare enough for theory and focused too much on Practical & Oral. Don't say Honours, Credit also don't know can get or not this time. LOLS!

Whatever... I still have Cidesco to go. Cibtac is now history.

what do we get after long hours of examination is a badge from UK Cibtac Board of Examination that printed in gold, Cibtac Student :)
Our examiner, Jenny Martin is an elegant lady with thick English accent. Wanted to take a picture with her but was doomed by the theory paper and went moodless. Lols! But we still had a group picture with her. As a token of appreciation, Mdm. Stella presented her with a little souvenir, a pewter jewellery box like the one from Royal Selangor. Not so little after all this souvenir. LOLS!
Well now, let me show you around my Practical Room :)

Han Yie at her best angle :P
Me diligently working :P tssk tssk

i'm a midget... :O

nevertheless, I like this picture LOLS! tht's a steamer anyways hahahaha!

Time flies and so fast it's already May. Mid year is coming. And it feels like I just celebrated New Year's Eve not too long ago. I guess, when you get older, you'd just notice tht time ticks faster unrealisingly.

2009 so far is one heaven of a good time for me with alot of unexpected happenings, new friendship bonded and lots more. Till here and I hope you like my current blog song. Sunny Day by Akon. It's very inspiring to me, someway somehow though I was not originated from the ghetto LOLS! But it's a new life I feel right now and how far I have diverted from the past :) All for good.

How could I taste the sweetness in life, if I keep remembering the bitterness of it. And without the bitterness, I wouldn't know what is sweet. A light at the end of the tunnel, I'm escaping :)

Check out Kenny Sia's blog on his latest vacation to Ireland. Interesting. Such serenic and peaceful place to visit. Kinda impressive that he did it all alone, and such independent man is attractive. LOLS! Who wants a man who swoons around chicks everyday, apung sin if you get what I mean HAHA!

*~~And now I look forward to everyday~~*

Dear Santa...

~*~*Ho hO Ho~*~* Christmas is around the corner again~!

Christmas is indeed a very lovely festive season. Everywhere you go, you see amazing decorations of christmas trees with presents, paints and sprays of merry wishes to banners everywhere in the streets- welcoming almost everyone, regardless of race and religion to celebrate Christmas! Though, there's always something missing...

The snow. :) and I mean... the real snow. Not just a crafted cotton snow nor those sad bits of styrofoam mimicking the snowflakes. No to the foamy sprays too. I wish I could have the chance to spend a real, living Christmas someday. I have no problem with chills ;)

Without coldness in life, will we ever be able to feel the warmth we long for?

HiP hiP HurRay~! I hereby announce that my holidays have now officially started, 2 weeks off from classes ;) Which yesterday was the last one, well it wasn't really a class but a 3 in 1 party :P (Sem break-Christmas-New Year) combo thing :P

And we had a vondutch... oooPs! I mean POTLUCK party :P So, each and everyone of us cooked and brought something to share and as usual, I only know how to make Potato Salad. LOLS! I know what are you thinking (it's boring~)...

but like what?? People do like it... :P

the cheesecake is real good i'm telling you!!!

You guys know which category of eater I am so it explains fairly that why the food pictures I had taken are all mostly finished :P I was busy eating when they were hot & steamy :P

teriyaki chicken, white sauce pasta, filipino potatoes....

wholemeal sandwiches, awesome sambal popia, squid kerabu, My Potato Salad, cheesy cake & fruit platter.

And whole lots more at the other side which I didn't have a chance to snap all :P There were like 30 odds of us including tutors, staff and Madam. Before the party started, Madam shared with us her inspiring stories, living legends of her successful students and promoting her new campus in Petaling Jaya-KL. We listened.. but we were hungry :P

And then Madam surprised us with some gifts from Xie Gallery.

i got a very cute voodoo looking rabbit. Lols!

As for the students, we organised our very own gift exchange too. Everyone brought a gift and we had a table of happiness displayed :P

aWwW~! it's cute, isn't it?? :P

Just like any other ordinary party. We had games too. Simple games which were really... simple. Yea.. Simple. LOls!

Jumping with balloons should be very simple... LOls

yea we had to hold the balloons that way and jumped 2 ways back :P

We had about 4 games then later, it was close to the end of the party so it was time to redeem our presents! :P

up for grabs, up for grabs!!!

And my receiver was Sandy from Bandar Perai Campus!

cute ayy?? :P

And I was the receiver of....

Ms. Hong Han Yie's Prezzie~! We're both from GP Campus.

Maybe I should introduce a few of my recent friends and coursemates to you guys ;)

From bottom left: Han Yie, Ying Sing, Ginny!
From upper left: Choya & Melissa!

And this is me & Ginny with the mini Christmas Tree!

Actually I wanted to grab more pictures of others but they were seen busy packing and cleaning their stuff outside so basically there were just a few of us who stayed back in the lecture room and found some toys... :P

Who is this???

It's Santa Barbara not Claus :P

It's so christmas-yyyy~~! :P

Keep it low, chicks~ :P

Well, it was just quite a simple party actually. But yea, we enjoyed ourselves- tremendously :P It's pretty interesting to meet new friends and discover new interests in them. Come to think about it, I only have about a year in Stella-In and maybe this could be the one and only time I got to celebrate Christmas here as a student :P

Anyways, I'd like to wish everyone of you here a very,
Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!
-ditch the unhappiness & despair of 2008 & bring along your dreams and visions to 2009!-

Kelas Seni

*RrrriiinnnnGgggG~!*
*Thank you, teacher~!*

The classroom went from a controllable state to an uncontrollable mini night market. Excited students were busy packing for art classes, while some still seen sitting around chit chatting/ gossiping.

As for us, the Fish Bone Gang (LOLz! Head: Jacq Soon) we obviously belong to the group that were still seen sitting around, taking our own sweet time to get ready :P A slow walk to the art classroom.

The basic routine was usually us, sitting in the same group, again.. chit chatting and gossiping away while painting. A painting was not a painting until the paper was fully soaked wet in poster colours and seemingly thinning in the process, :P

Not to forget, the Jacq Soon-Yi Ling weekly argument. Lolz! They could be arguing over the simplest matter like the poster colours, paint brushes, drawing block, the table or pencil.. LOlz! They just had to argue over something and got over it during recess :P

For me, my art was just average, PERIOD! Sometimes below average too. Lols. But you see, considering I hadn't attended any art lessons outside school.. I give myself a rating of 8/10.. okay, maybe 7/10 lerr... Hmm...

...............................

.......................

............

......

..

......

............

........................

.................................

Okay la okay la... 5/10 la okay?!~~! LOLZ!

I got 2/5 for this "mastersheet". LOLs

I was actually inspired by The Bug's Life but a picture says a thousand words.. I FAILED TERRIBLY! :D

And I took approximately 2 periods to complete this period, that sums up about 1 1/2 hours for this "mastersheet"

that includes the time i spent in talking and laughing away :P

When the art exam comes around, I'd be most clueless about what I wanted to portray. And this picture says it all...

a very very random imagination Lolz!

But, my paintings were not always that bad okay?~ Actually it kinda depends on my mood......... and I do really have a few that I'm proud of.. Lols.. for myself la.. :P

A vase of flowers...

tssk tssk.. not bad ma hor?! wa zai wa zai~!.. HAHA

A blink blink Hat!

it's not a painting.. it's a Collage whereby I patiently glued the itsy bitsy sequins and labucis to construct the whole thing up! :P It was up in the classroom okay~! First time! LOLS

Life's a Brief Candle by William Shakespeare bb..but!

FRAMED BY TUNG HING :P! You know, I really like this artwork of mine. It's a simple piece of artwork but with delicate touch to it. I'm going to frame this up and display it in my house next time.. I'm serious ;)

A cetakan method

i find it kinda.. artistic? LOLS!

Then a traditional WAU!

Now, go fly kite mates~!

Negara Aman Tanpa Dadah

how do you like the bungkus? LOLS!

And some nightmare themed painting~

the human was illustrated by Pn. Koay, the coolest art teacher I'd ever met :P

hahaha! SO that was part of the reminiscence of my lower secondary school life in CPT, Aman all the away :P Life was simpler back then, minus the time my friends and I were sitting outside the class corridor revising while reminding one another: "It's okay, next semester we study earlier okay?" Lolz! Or said things like "Humans don't sleep" when rushing for folios and projects. Lolz!

Corrections could be made, there were ample spaces for mistakes and rooms for readjustments.

I'm glad I made it through each stages of my life, to experience the excitement and wonders of each phases of my life and meet a bunch of great people along the way. Teenage life knocks only once in a lifetime. It's really not about the rave parties and shaking in bikinis... it's all about, the crazy things you did with your bestest buddies :)The friends who jumped with joy with you when you score with flying colours, and the friends who cried with you just before and after you accept your failures.

Another Farewell

It's holiday season again ;) Though not long for me, just 2 days off from Stella In but it's better than none too :P

The reason I've been a little bit inactive in blogging lately is not because of anything but basically is because of my streamyx connection that has gone haywire! First, dialed 100 and lodged a complain, nothing happened. Second, dialed 1oo again and lodged a more detailed complain yet, nothing happened again. Third, dialed 100 with a furious mode and the sneak preview of the conversation was as below:-

Choya: Hello, this is Ms. Tung here again and I've called several times in regards to my streamyx connection with the username dotdot@streamyx.

Technical assistant: Alright Ms. Tung, I've checked your connection and there seems to be no problem from our port here.

Choya: What do you mean no problem? I keep getting disconnected and can't seem to browse anything nor successfully load any page online. And what am I paying for monthly with the RM88? For this kind of connection????!!!!

Technical Assistant: Sorry Ms. Tung for keeping you waiting but all I can do is to lodge your case report to our technical service department for attention and shall call you soon for updates.

Choya: (HmmmPh...) Okay.

Like few days later, they sent me a technician to check my streamyx connection on site. Lolz....... after about 30 minutes of diagnosis, with a very friendly look, the technician said to me...

Hot technician: Miss, cable kamu semua sudah terbakar lah. Kena tukar semua, modem juga sudah rosak.

(............. LOLS!!!)

Moral of the story: Don't get over excited over a matter that the root cause is not identified accurately :P
Well, I'd most probably wait till my bro is back to get everything back on track :P At the moment now, I'd just stay dc from the virtual world :S

Aihz.. It's end of September, the day has finally arrived. Another farewell for me this year. A farewell for....

Ms. Peh Su Ann

our beloved tutor, the one in black :)

As things got a little bit comfortable in there, I was notified not too long ago that Su Ann is leaving Stella In by end of the month. All of us are going to miss her lessons, her jokes, her nagging and so much more :) Suddenly, there's a saying that rings the bell in my head "Setiap pertemuan mesti ada perpisahannya"

An upclose picture with Su Ann...

in the lecture room...

Basically, the times in class today passed so quickly with some fun and jokes while we were doing water manicure for one another.

Nice or not?

colour code: Russian Navy by OPI

While being free, I snapped a few photos of the lecture room out of boredom....

the entrance and exit

empty empty...

OOooPs! I got to go now! And Kit, I'll update your colour personality some time soon alright? :P ByeS everyone :)

24 Hours

Oopsie DoOpsie! Looks like I failed to fulfill my promise of updating my blog at least once a week... *sigh* It's really easier said than done, huh? :P July had been a cricket dead month for me and August IS KEEPING ME OCCUPIED 24/7!!! That includes sleeping, pee and poo and no single second to feel emo at all... not any chance by all means :D ~it's a pretty good feeling actually, at least I feel rejuvenated and almost 100% emo-free~ :P (Rejuvenated: That was the card that I drew during Tarot Card reading :P)

So what are the things that have kept me so busy for the past day and week.. ermS.. Basically, my homework and assignments accumulated from make up class and also getting my portfolios done! Hell, I hate paperwork :S but still have to do it :( My SKM examination is around the corner and I'm still half past six, needa catch up!!!

Anyways.. lets have a look at my "hardwork" hee...
(make up assignments are all about eyes, eyes, eyes and MORE eyes!!!! Grrr..)

these are just 6 out of 24 eyes I patiently coloured with....

My recently purchased professional set of make up brushes with real eyeshadows and not colour pencilsssss :D

quite a costly assigment...

but i enjoy playing with colours :P

Other than that, I have to illustrate 12 pairs of eyebrowssS.. that's really patient testing!!!

notice that the eyes come without any brows and to illustrate it out of the blankness is.. GRRRrr

Illustration in progress

one after another... *breathe in breathe out.. &^%#*%%Q@#$!!!

Just this afternoon, I got my student card. NOOB FACE!!!!

The front of my S.C

back of my S.C

And basically this week, I learn alot about Manicure and Pedicure and tomorrow is Waxing! :P Kinda looking forward to it!!! House of WAX! And today while I was loitering around outside the practical room, ogling at the certificates of the fellow tutors, I realised that there are grades for the certificates, either certificate with Credit, Distinction or Honours and my jaw dropped when Su Ann's CIBTAC was awarded with Honours.. Hmm.. What a motivation :P

Next week I ll be having my 2 weeks external course, made compulsory by our government to suck a fortune from us... ArGhh.. Core abilities, first aid and fire fighting... Aihz.. At the time being, kindly bear with my inactive blog but I'll try my best to keep it updated at least once a week :P I still haven't quite settled down for the 1st month in Stella In :P

See MeeZ! :)

Vision Alive

Well well well... My blog was dead for a few days, I know! :P But before it gets rotten any further, I better refresh it with a new piece of post if not, the dead blog announcer is just around the corner to RUN HIS ROUTINE!

Actually, this post is going to be ALL WORDS NO PICTURE post as I don't seem to have any nice pictures around to show to you guys about my progress in Stella In. There's really no time for pictures too as once I step into the class first thing in the morning, I have to rush to set up trolley for my practice in the afternoon. Mostly, my tutor would do theory in the morning then practical after lunch.
My first week lesson is all bout Facial Therapy.

Maybe there's one picture after all.. :P

basically.. this is my everyday school bag..

Before I started the course, I was wondering like.. are these people trying to be wannabes or what by carrying such a big luggage bag daily to class? Lolz... Now, I'm one of them... Hahahaha! But, it's not silly but the FACT IS THT WE HAVE ALOT OF THINGS TO BRING!!!!! Just imagine this is only for Facial Therapy, when comes manicure pedicure & make-up, I really doubt this size of my bag suffice!

But to me, it worths all this hassle because I really enjoy what I'm doing right now. I must say that it's really an awakening period of my life that I somehow feel that my vision is alive. It's like the feeling of being in the class everyday feels like a fantasy.. I'm not exaggerating :) Sometimes before I close my eyes and set sail to dreamland, I'd ask myself, is this a dream and I have to wake up the next moment I open up my eyes?

At the first few days of my class, I really had some hard time trying to mingle with the students there as they speak in Mandarin ALL THE TIME and I'm the only student who's speaking in English with the tutor. Well, Su Ann (my current tutor) is a really nice and talented person, very very beautiful too. You won't guess that she's even 30+ and has 2 kids.. And I never get bored of her lessons as she's very professional during lessons and at the same time very likeable and has a pretty good sense of humour! :P When you look at her, you'll know what I mean :) Nowadays, you can't be a good beautician without a brain unlike those were the days :P

No doubt that the other students lack in urmm English but then they really have skills in practical lor.. Haha! Dunno if I'm new or is it they are really that good? :P In the class we have a mixture of people. Some eventually are dropouts and some eventually are graduates from Uni but then realised their passion lies somewhere else, that is here in beauty :P

So we take turns to become the model and the therapist and it's really fun. Serious work but then it's pretty therapeutic to me lor.. Haha! Feel the customer~ :P No doubt sometimes it's frustrationg I couldn't get the steps right but then it makes me feel like.. I WANNA DO MORE DO MORE AND MORE BUT NOT QUIT! Hee! I hope this is a good sign :)

So far, the best experience in the class for me would be... MAKING MY OWN MASK! Haha... We are taught the methods and recipes to making masks that cater to many many different skin types and conditions and it was awesome! There were ingredients for us, so all we have to do is just to mix them up and POOP, KOKOCRUNCH! :P I've tried for oily and sensitive only as my partner has that condition. The ingredients were some kind of witch hazel, rose water and calamine mixed together! :P

One thing that's pretty hard for me is to remember the products in sequence because we are using French products and the names of the range are really really hard to pronounce like... eau demaquillante, lait demaquillante, lotion moussante douce/ peau grasse, emulsion gommante, concentre peau seche.. and bla bla bla... :P

Basically, that's pretty all about my course that I can update you at the moment as I'm feeling very very very sleepy now while typing this whole thing. Haha! I know I make alot of grammar mistakes but just excuse me.. Hee! Till here and I shall update you guys soon about the upcoming events in my course! Haha! Sayonara-O!

Choya In

Oh MY GoDDDD!!! August is here!!! HAHAHAHAHHAA! I don't have to sit down at home randoming around anymore!!! I've finally got something to do.. I'm saying.. F.I.N.A.L.L.Y :D

It's so the time to....

Eight is indeed a good number!!!

fatt fatt fatt FATT FATTT FATTT!!!!

Lets not talk about Public Uni appeal anymore, shall we? It's not that I don't care about my education but it's just that I'd probably done everything that I could. I just can't help it if the Government actually chooses to OVERLOOK us- the average students. They pay MORE attention to the bright ones and sadly, MOST to the HELPLESS :) It's not the end of the world for me, I've got backup plans after all.. Hee!

"You talk so much Choya! What's your backup plan?"

Well, I've finally signed up my Beauty and Skin Therapy Course in Stella In!!!

goodie bag bag bag bag BAG!!!

Yerps, actually this is not a sudden decision at all. I've been pondering very long for an opportunity to launch this decision, even before STPM. Haha! It's not actually a big dream but then just something I know I'd enjoy doing. Meeting and helping people to look better. Beauty is something that will never get out of trend so long as the law of opposite attraction applies! Haha!!!

Actually, this may sound easy but it's not really too. I was told by the Chief Tutor, Mdm. Poh Jeen that the course is not entirely about hands on and practical stuff only but come along TEXTBOOKS! When I heard that, I was like... I've sold all my old textbooks away and now come a new batch?? :P But at least I know, I can catch up since I have a background in Biology! So, my interest for Biology is not in vain!! :P And Siew Lay, do you remember Yveline? Haha.. SHe repeated again the lines... "Chapalang chapalang.." Lolz!

Well, lets see what are the practices for my Diploma in Aesthetic Therapy (just a scientific term I guess.. HAha!)

- Client Handling
- Consultation
- Skin Cleansing, Deep Cleansing and Analysis
- Extract of Impurities
- Massage
- Mask
- Toning & Moisturizing
- Eyebrow Shaping
- Eyelash & Eyebrow Tinting
- Day and Evening Makeup
- Corrective Makeup
- False Eyelashes
- Electricity
- Light Therapy (infrared and ultraviolet)
- Electrical Facial Treatments (High frequency, vacuum suction, neuro muscular, electrical stimulation & galvanism)
- Water & Hot Oil Manicure, Pedicure & Wax Depilation
- Superfluous Hair Lightening
- Anatomy and Physiology of head and body
- Figure Analysis
- Body Massage
- Body Electrical Treatments (G5, vacuum suction, galvanism, neuro muscular,

Hmm.. I'm LOST PUN NEEH!!! So much to be mastered for my exams at the end of 1 year. Yerps.. 1 year course with 3 diplomas (M'sia, UK, Swiss) and 1 recognition certificate (SKM). The entire course fee is RM8,500 excluding examinations which are around RM3,000. And still! Have to purchase this and that...

These are some of the things I just got today... not complete yet AT ALL...

The front of my uniform....

the back of my uniform

Treatment gown...

A dozen of facial towelssssS...

That's basically all for today that I got from them. The rest they will give me during my orientation on Sunday. Hmm.. Alot of things to carry to class everyday except LAPTOP :)

When I was trying my uniform, Mdm. Poh Jeen was entertaining my mum and somehow after they'd talked, my mother kinda like... supporting my decision to take up this course. For once she didn't mention about, GOING UNI infinity times... God bless :)

Then after that me and my mum went for dinner at the basement, this new shop having very nice interior.. one that resembles a FUNERAL OCCASION. The one that Jin Wei commented when we were looking for food after Hellboy, the setting was too much HAHHA! I agree... :P

kua pao... ho chiak pun neeh!!!

Basically, I have a mixture of feelings right now. Excited and also nervous. This is the first time that my family has to fork out so much money for me to study, I must not take it lightly. I know I have the interest but at the same time, I'm pretty scared too... Hmmph... And there's a special person I'd like to thank most other than Hai Uncle..

My NOOB BRO...

He's the main sponsor! *I'll be serious about this!*

And also not forgetting his gf, Chin for being very very very supportive too.. Actually the list goes on.. Hahahha! I've got many thanks to many other people too.. Mum, Pei (Chin's sister), and all my friends for listening to me during the days I was having a bad time deciding about my future.

CheeRsss everyone... for the welcoming of Choya's first step of the journey of a thousand miles ;)

pick your drink honey.. it's my treat.. HAHA! e-drinks

Before I end my post, I have a prime question which erm... I hope you guys don't mind to give a 10 seconds thought about it and help me to decide whether I should name my nametag: CHOYA or TUNG HING.... Lols.. It's easier for people to remember you in this line if you have a fancy name but then... will people remember the name TUNG HING??? :P HelP!!!

Sekian, harap maklum... :P

What should be the name of my NAMETAG?!
