Anyways, my post isn't going be about the song, erm... something far more interesting I'd say. LOLS! I mean, laughably interesting. Hhaha! Remember I told you guys tht I signed up for the traditional photo shoots? I got the pictures already. Haa!

You see, my initial plan was to take these photos when I was 18, 21(taken), 25, 35, 45, 55, 65, 75 (if I'm still alive that is) Lols! But I missed the chance when I was 18, well.. time that had passed will never come back so.. it's fine.

Anyways, I've uploaded alot of my childhood photos into this post and you'll see for yourself if I've changed or evolved in anyways. Haa! Thou many had said that I do not actually have much changes since I was a baby up to now. sigh*

And the legend began with...

21 years ago.... a baby girl was born!

you know, this doesn't really look like a baby girl! lulz~

Judging at this picture, it shouts nothing back at you but a TYPICAL & PURE ROOTED ASIAN FEATURE!

Small sleek eyes, flat nose bridge and thin lips with the black hair.

This baby will never look as hot as Miley Cyrus when she's a teenage nor ever! like Megan Fox when she's in her 20's...

(Yes... I admit, I just feel damn disappointed being born as a chinese. Say whatever you want, unappreciative or whatever but the fact is heck, I'm still chinese :})

And hell, why do I have to look like my father in the first place? Yea, he's ugly :S You know, my mum's pretty.. And hell I did not inherit her genes at all! F-U-G!

looking at this picture, you'd expect the baby to be prettier right?

In fact, my maternal relatives like my uncles, aunties, cousins and lalalala~ are all pretty good looking with good features. And the shortie gene does surely come from my dad's side :S

Like my mum, at this age.. I think they could still find her to model for the Mooncake Festival. Lols!

I always think my mum's pretty, no perasan-ness :)

But she clearly does make a huge mistake in her life marrying my Dad, that's all I could say :)

Back to myself. Yea! My mum made me look like a boy when I was small, probably from the day I was born up to 6 years old. People think I'm a boy! :O

you know what I really mean when I say I hated typical chinese feature?

I still remember that the Poh Piah Auntie said to me, "Nah Ah Boy, lu eh Popia. Noh kor gin nia ah boy..." (Boy, here's your Popia, it's for RM2) zzZzz

And I started to rebel when I was in primary school, I insisted to have long hair! I could make all sorts of excuses just to abstain from the hair salon. Haa! Like I was having stomach ache or even, I pretended to fall sleep and did not want to wake up when I reached :P It worked.. twink*

The Cost of Compassion

I haven't been reading the newspaper for the past weeks. So, sorry if I'm a little bit too late to be informed of the honourable mission of "Pulau Ketam Dog Rescue Mission". Heck, I almost could have remained ignorant about the news if not cuz of Facebook! And yes, I became a member of the rescue team in Facebook, in support of the mission. It's just one free click of support, I'm sure I can afford it.. Join sajalah~ Hehehehe...

Then, I've been getting news updates from the account, each and everytime with good news that so far how many dogs and pups have been saved. But today, instead of just being an idle member of the mission, I decided to pay a wee bit more attention to the rescue mission, and googled about it.

The search result was listless and I began with the first click on the their official website. I admit I have a soft heart and immense empathy on animals, so I'm really not sure how you would feel about it. All I can say is, the rescue is much more meaningful than I'd thought it was to be :)

I thoroughly read through all the rescue mission from Day 1 till todate.. sigh* there was a.. mixture of feelings. Happy and glad when I see one dog saved from time to time, yet... so sad and sorrow to see the condition of the poor dogs. Skeletal, fear-y eyes, injured, cuts & wounds, drowned and etc.. my shallow eyes got flooded just by browsing thru the pictures.

Grace is not having a leisure swim, but swimming towards the rescue boat from the HELL ISLAND when she saw them!

A summary of the happening from the Rescue Team:

"The residents of Pulau Ketam sent some 300 stray dogs to exile on a remote island where the harsh conditions almost certainly guarantee a horrible death. Of the 300 dogs sent there, more than three-quarters are presumed to be already dead. I traveled to the island with Sabrina Yeap of Furry Friends Farm and managed to save only one dog on this reconnaissance trip. We did see several other starving and dying dogs along the mangrove shore."

Just when the rescue team are doing their welfare deeds, there are evil people out there in Pulau Ketam that are now belittle-ing and defaming the rescue team's voluntary work, literally accusing the dogs have invaded their lives in the villages and are deserved to be exiled or even shot dead!

Forgive the Ketam-ers, sungguh mengketamkan sungguh. As ketam as the pulau. BODOH!

Even if the dogs have invaded their lives, have these people ever once thought that they are partly responsible for these happenings now? Take a few consideration folks:

"Oh, your kids love dogs, you adopt 1, months later you discard them because your kids are bored, and off the stray..."

"Oh, you love dogs but you don't spay them. Your neighbour love dogs and he doesn't spay them. Everyone loves dogs but THEY NEVER SPAY THEM. Dogs love dogs. They make love and produce a school of puppies and just when things get out of hand, uncivilisers go PONG.. shoot them down!"

"Oh dogs are just dogs. WHo cares.. KICK* TORTURE* BURN* CUT* COOK* them~ muahahahhaha..."

Fuck all these nuisance man!

When demons exist, I believe angels do too. For the first time, I feel proud of the Malaysians (like the rescue crews) for standing up for the welfare of animals. I'm not paid for writing this, and I'm not begging you for your money nor with the intention of robbing a fortune off you.

I'd just like to stress that, we don't need to be Ms. World or Ms. Universe to understand the word charity and the hidden meaning behind which brings hope and faith to the unfortunates.

Dogs they are. Four legged creatures they are. A million limitations compared to humans they have. But please, just for once, close your eyes and listen carefully... there's a rhythm of life, a heartbeat.

But I just asked from Hai Uncle RM50 and he didn't even bother to ask why at all so I'm gonna chip in his with mine (chek fuk for him). He can easily earn RM50 tomorrow by selling a few kilos of squids anyways :P

I choose to TT the cash to their CIMB Bank Account thru cash deposit machines (check here, http://www.mycen.com.my/rescue/index.html for other mode of transactions) because banks are everywhere, there's no reason to say "hard lah, how lah, dunno lah". I'm very well versed with bank machines anyways.. :D

Again, it's really fine if you ignore this post altogether. But I'll still be glad to share this with you :) You can help not just in money way but too, increase the awareness by spaying your dogs and stop breeding uncontrollably.

Here Comes May!

HaRLoOOOO~~!!! Finally, I'm back to revive my blog! Hehehe.. You know what, it feels really awkward out of a sudden, after so long of not writing anything. It takes me a while to ponder around on how to start the post. Haha! It's not a good sign isn't it? :P

Well, it's not that I was lazy or anything but I was really caught up with tonnes of assignments, project file, prep for Cibtac exam: Practical, Oral & Theory. It was all.. over now. And March-April was such a stressful time for me. Anticipating this and that, tying the lose ends, pulling up the socks, one-two buckle the shoe, three-four shut the door.. (list goes on and on).

And I really understand what Zhi Xiang meant by his sleeping time just went unhealthy cuz mine did as well. Super duper unhealthy and hormonally IMBA! Haha.. Pimple attack all over again and that's why I said, I'm just gonna heal naturally this coming month. Recuperating Period now :)

Mm keng mm kok, I have been in Stella-In for already 8 months which after completion of Cibtac Diploma, I'm technically a senior now. A senior that always late to class, a senior that skips classes, a senior that speaks broken mandarin and of course, a senior that handles waxing terribly... LOLS! But unexpectedly, I finished my waxing pretty fast and good during Practical Exam! Terlalu memuji diri.. Haha! Honours sure in hand?

HELL NO! LOLs. The theory paper was one hell of a crapsheet. I underestimated it.

Lols! 80 questions in 1 hour 30 minutes surely wasn't enough at all, asshole. And the usual questions in class were not even comparable to the standard of real Cibtac, asshole. Guess I just didn't prepare enough for theory and focused too much on Practical & Oral. Don't say Honours, Credit also don't know can get or not this time. LOLS!

Whatever... I still have Cidesco to go. Cibtac is now history.

what do we get after long hours of examination is a badge from UK Cibtac Board of Examination that printed in gold, Cibtac Student :)

Our examiner, Jenny Martin is an elegant lady with thick English accent. Wanted to take a picture with her but was doomed by the theory paper and went moodless. Lols! But we still had a group picture with her. As a token of appreciation, Mdm. Stella presented her with a little souvenir, a pewter jewellery box like the one from Royal Selangor. Not so little after all this souvenir. LOLS!

Time flies and so fast it's already May. Mid year is coming. And it feels like I just celebrated New Year's Eve not too long ago. I guess, when you get older, you'd just notice tht time ticks faster unrealisingly.

2009 so far is one heaven of a good time for me with alot of unexpected happenings, new friendship bonded and lots more. Till here and I hope you like my current blog song. Sunny Day by Akon. It's very inspiring to me, someway somehow though I was not originated from the ghetto LOLS! But it's a new life I feel right now and how far I have diverted from the past :) All for good.

How could I taste the sweetness in life, if I keep remembering the bitterness of it. And without the bitterness, I wouldn't know what is sweet. A light at the end of the tunnel, I'm escaping :)

Check out Kenny Sia's blog on his latest vacation to Ireland. Interesting. Such serenic and peaceful place to visit. Kinda impressive that he did it all alone, and such independent man is attractive. LOLS! Who wants a man who swoons around chicks everyday, apung sin if you get what I mean HAHA!
