Yayz!! Finally our
CLTC is over!!! Well, what can I say bout it, erm.. all well ends well perhaps?? :)
Alrite, before I move on any further about this
Langkawi Trip, let me introduce the fellow board of committees of
CLTC-La Tour de Langkawi to you guys first..
TADAA......
Yeah, these are the fellow committess of the camp. You don't need me to dictate the names right but there's one participant in the camp that you guys must have not heard of her name before whom is preferred to be named as
Ah Hua.
Siew Lay's imaginery friend? LOL! So the trip actually has 4 girls and not 3. We hope not :S
Basically the first day started with the sea sick journey of 3 hours to the
Langkawi Island. Not really everyone was down during that journey except for
Teh Jin Chuen. But then not many of us, especially the girls did really care of that issue. We left that to
Chie Siang :) Not cuz we were ignorant, but then it's always better for us to keep a distance to avoid
senseless critics from his
GOD.
Have you guys heard of senseless records lately???
For the fact that even if we don't talk or get near to Jin Chuen, we would still be labeled as fuckheads, sluts, bitches or whatsoever. Yea, we can't control what you wanna say or blog in your vain blog, then do understand that you can't control what we want to do too. Whether the trip was planned ahead with girls or without, the fact is we went and we had a great time there. If just because your puppet was there and we shouldn't be there then it's too bad for you. Next time, do keep your puppet in the closet so that he won't get anywhere without your knowledge. Don't speak as though your boyfriend is a hot item and wow like all of us worship the ground he walks on. Please, save it for yourself. Kindly enable your blog for public viewing so that there's an entertainment for us. Maybe you don't realise, you're making a fool of yourself.
So, we arrived at the Kuah Jetty at around 11.30 a.m and instead of us started to look for a van, some salesman with the name Jan popped up and offered us his vans for rent. So we just followed him in a group to check his vans out and he closed the sales with 2 vans for us. It was RM70 per day and off we went to our hotel check-in.
We broke into 2 groups. Group A's leader was Kah Whai (driver) and the rest were Siew Lay, Teik Loon, Hock Leong, Boon Khai, Boss (I dunno his real name though) and Chie Siang.
Group B's leader was Wing Liong and the rest were Ryan, Huo Kit, Choya, Yu Yu, Edwin, Zhi Xiang and one more person is obviously Jin Chuen.
No that was not our van, as the condition of our vans are far worse than that. But did not have the time to snap a picture of them :P But I really liked it when Huo Kit sat nearest to the door as the way he slammed the door really sounded like we were the gangsters going to rob the bank or for a pia tin (fight). Hahahha! CUz the scars he has in his arms look fit for that kind of thing. LOL!
Alright, we brought several version of Langkawi maps with us but then it was a tough time navigating as there are some places marked in the map doesnt have a good roadsigns for us to refer. It's highway all the way on the hilly slopes and there were not much cars around. Every few minutes only we see one passing by.
The first challenge to us was finding the way to the airport-where our hotel lies closest to there. Provided someone was feeling really damn sick in the van and complained one hell of a time throughout the journey. Everyone was tense but then there was nothing we can do but co-operate to break that challenge through. We were at a place not our own. Communication is utmost important. We stopped around. We asked around.
Suddenly, there was a shit thing that happened when Jin Chuen suddenly got so tensed up and complained he had a bad cramp and his blood couldn't flow. His hands couldn't move and his whole body couldn't feel anything. We did not really undersand what was happening but it seemed pretty serious. I was thinking of 991 right away but lets not make it big.
"aaaahhhHHhhh.. wa hoik beh kia, hoik beh kia, chiu.. chiu beh kui... weyyy... seng ku beh tin tang..."
The boys helped him out as he was so "divine" that no girls can approach but me and Yu Yu just helped around by getting water and I just continued looking at the maps with Zhi Xiang. After a while, we continued our journey. Group A called and had arrived at the hotel safe and sound. Group B still stranded.
Then suddenly that was like salt added to our wounds. The van goes... poo poo poo poo POOP! DEAD!!!! "DIE LIGHT" cuz we were out of FUEL! DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing we can do after trying to start for several times and we failed. We had no choice but got down from the car and see what we can do bout it. We saw the petrol station sign and yayz we go but as we looked closer, the signs showed 1000 m damn.. 1 KM?? Who is gonna walk huh? In the end, Edwin and Zhi Xiang took up the challenge and they ran across the hilly slopes to the petrol station.
And for the rest of us, we couldn't be sitting down there and do nothing right except for the sick boy then. So we got down and started pushing the van and it was towards UP THE HILL. HECK!
Take a look at this man..
note that this is the back view of the van...
It was hard that we managed to push only 1 van distance and it was draining our energy. And our hunger level had reached the maximum level.
nope, it was not only Ryan who pushed. HAHAAA The rest were at the back pushing...
Then Wing Liong got so pissed off that he really went to piss everything off without a single warning to us. Hahaha...
This tree is Wing Liong's monument..
you should know what I mean, right?? ahahha
Then like almost half an hour later, Zhi Xiang and Edwin returned with fuel and this time, with a Nissan March. A good Samaritan eventually offered to drop them back. SO we filled up the car and poof, off we go baby~
Almost one hour later, we reached our hotel after struggling to find the route there. Ahh.. relieved~
Langkasuka Beach Resort
And our room looks something like this, just that we have 2 beds.
Now only I realise I did not take any picture of our room but then it really looks something like this :)
The first day, we had our lunch at Tong Seng restaurant and trust me, the food was pretty... bad and it did not worth the price. We only had fried rice and fried noodles that doesn't have any prawn nor vege in it added with a little bit of side orders and it cost us 100 over. And not all of us ordered juice as some had tea only. Seriously, for that price, we deserve something better. Like a phrase that goes, "Food that goes down through the backbone" :(
After that we went for Morac Go-Kart and it was RM29 with student card. Fun, fun and fun is the word! Although I skidded a few times and was overtaken but the feeling is beyond description. FUN! It was just that my leg was not long enough to control the brake most of the time. At first it was okay but after a few laps, it got stiff as I need to make a full thrust to get it work, too much attention and I would skid. Ahh.. forget it.. LOL! And my best time was 1.51 min with 8.1 speed. A hottie pawned us with 1.33 min and 9.7 speed. Damn!!! Fine. Ish.. hahaha!
weeee... that was me! the act cool dudes :)
looks like the helmet is really smelly huh?? :P
Kah Whai our tai siu yeah zhai :P
In the evening, the boys would go and play their football, volleyball and maybe swimming but as for us girls, we would take a slow stroll along the beach and got ourselves a little bit emo.
Yeah, you look at this and don't tell me you don't feel emo... After the shower and everything, we headed off to Kuah Town for food. We were pretty disappointed after 40 mins drive down there, everything was closed. Aih... Then we ended up eating at Kenny Rogers instead of Hameed. It was okay as we were so hungry that everything tasted good although it was just normal. In Penang, we don't pay much attention to muffin but that night, having muffin was like such a blessing :P But the muffin of Kenny Rogers tasted good also ler :P
After that, there were nothing much as all shops were already closed therefore we decided to head back to our hotel and rest. I must say that I'm kinda impressed with my friends whom sense of direction was so good. We headed back to the hotel without a single complication this time around :) I tried to keep my eyes open during the journey so that I can remember the route better but ahh I couldn't, it shut all by themselves.
But Siew Lay's eyes was not that nice to her. She did see something she was not supposed to see.
Group A's van was driving at the back of Group B's and out of a sudden, Siew Lay saw a figure seating between Zhi Xiang and Edwin and it was a lady with long hair and a flower tied on. And she became quiet after a while. Maybe she was too tired then. Hopefully. And that lady is no other than Ah Hua, as we named her :) But the 2nd night she wasnt in any of our vans. Maybe she just needed a ride to somewhere and she was harmless. Thank God.
We returned to the hotel and at night before all of us go to bed, she told us that and immediately we hid under the blanket and fell asleep in no time.
Lights off.
Then not sure why in the middle of the night, suddenly I felt that something heavy was resting on my body and I dare not move or anything as I suspected it was Ah Hua whom was trying to mess around again. So I kept quiet and tried to keep cool under the blanket. Few minutes later, I found out that it was actually Siew Lay's leg that rested on me and I was like.. Chiu! Pushed her leg away and it flipped over to Yuyu I think. LOL!
The next day we woke up with excitement cuz it was the day we get to do Island Hopping! It was only RM33 which we thought, quite okay as it was within our budget :)
We hopped around 3 islands with speed boat and the best one would still be Pulau Dayang Bunting. Damn great and awesome that place. It's like it makes you feel so fertile like a fertilizer :P Well, the legend says that for those women who swim in the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden (Tasik Dayang Bunting), they would be blessed with a fertile body. But then, only virgins would be blessed :)
Alrite, why is it called the Island of the Pregnant Maiden? Here's an answer why.....
Notice that the hill at the centre of the picture. You see from the right, there lies a figure with a head and followed by the neck. Then the first bump was her chest, and second bump would be her hands placed on her rounded tummy which is the last big bump which slopes to the left. Get the idea? And it was COOOL!!!!!
The Abang Sempoi dropped us at the Pregnant Maiden's pier and we had to hike further into the forest to reach the lake. When we reach there, we found there was a cool activity! Boat rowing took place next and it was good racing with a slow mode :P
Wow, look who are they??? Chikos and SLutsss!!!!! My foot :D
After around 30 minutes there, we had to return to the pier as we had to hop to another island. Then I took a final shot of Pregnant Maiden Island and it was just beautiful.
The Mist coming after Zhi XIang!
Next was eagle feeding in one of the smaller island which I can't remember the name of that island. The trick was they throw chicken skin into the water and the eagle would grab it at the speed of light. So hard to capture a perfect shot but with my skills, nothing is impossible. Hahah!
We stayed there for like maybe 10 or 15 minutes then we had to move on to another island. The boat just dumped us there and there was nothing on the beach except for some soft drinks and junk food. Once again, we were mistreating our stomach :( Anyhow, we still enjoyed our time there fooling at the beach. The water is not as clear as in Perhentian but better than Penang :)
Finally, I've set foot on Langkawi!!!!!
My mum likes this picture. Especially Kah Whai :)
After an hour, the boat came and picked us up again. That was our last pit stop and we had to head back to the mainland. But I shall never forget this experience :) Amazing.
YYaaHHHHHOOOOOooooooooooooOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Friends Forever!!!
Then after that, we faced another big problem. Where should we have our lunch!!! Arghh.. hate that. After pondering around, we decided to go here. And trust me, it was fucking crazy. Damn pissed of with the waiter. Let me show you which shop it is... Don't ever go in there. It was a all fucked place with fucked up menu with fucked up prices with fucked up waiters..
You tell me, what is wrong with asking, "Do you have Banana Leave Rice here?" And that fucking waiter was showing us his cocky look while saying, "We don't have Banana Leave here, you want Banana Leave you walked down a few minutes you can get it. We here don't serve Banana Leave, everything Ala Carte." You get what I mean, he said as if we couldn't afford to pay. Fuck him and hell we decided to walk out from the place. And we knew Teik Loon was not happy with what we did but sorry, we really didn't think we want to stay another minute there in that fucking shop. SO in the end we broke into groups finding our preferred place to eat. Situation was all tensed up and it was good we took some time off to digest :S
We walked down several shops to find another place to eat and we found this place called Al-Jazeera. The boss was way warmer and welcoming than that fucking place previously. We ended up feeling happy and contented with the meal :P And we snap a couple of shots with him and he was cool :)
The one behind Yuyu is the hot boss :P
AFter an hour, we gathered back at Underwater World and everyone seemed to forget about the previous conflict which was good :) We came in a big group coming from different classes with different clicks. I guess time was a huge factor for us to get to know each other better :)
Underwater World binds us together again :)
This fish looks like a crocodile aint it??
sea urchin!! looks deadly huh??
What happens if a lobster had a one night stand with a starfish?? :P
Welcome to the world of Happy Feet!!!
And then we have a very lonely and sad sea dragon trapped in an aquarium all by himself...
ANd also a pitiful gigantic stingray which only allocated a small aquarium for it to swim and have fun all around...
Cute cute thing which looks like a beaver but not a beaver :P And he doesn't like Hock!
Actually, we expected something more from the Underwater World but it seems like there weren't much for us to see. Maybe bcuz after so many creatures had died last year and they lost their attraction. The first day we went, we were even told that there was an electricity blankout. Poor sea creatures.. Trap in the dark and so lonely~
But then we found a spot that was so perfect for an artistic shot and it turned out to be quite cool indeed :P Every picture tells a story of its own.... :)
And soon after that, we headed back to our hotel for a rest before sneaking out again at night to Kuah Town. To enjoy Langkawi Drift in another words :) We had dinner in one of the Malay coffeeshop but then my group was still feeling full from the lunch we had in Al-Jazeera previously. But we ta pao back the Gulai Panas to see if it's great but it was just.. ok-ok only.
ps chie siang, you still owe us our CLTC certificates as well as our T-shirts!!!! :P
After that, we wanted to stop by Permandangan Indah to have a view of Langkawi at night but then it was too dark for us to explore that place at night. It looks creepy. Added with the story of Ah Hua, no one dares to try that out :S
So in the end also we headed back to our hotel and washed ourselves up. We planned to have a room visit during the last night but then we thought we were too tired to do anything like that. Wanted to spend our time in our own room to chit chat till dusk and then watch the sunrise :) But then we followed the tradition of the camp. A pow wow session which we prefer to call it Confession for this CLTC :P
We played some card games and then drink a little. Yeah, I mean a little. Just a little :) You see, liquor in Langkawi is so cheap that we felt the urge to buy even if we are not alcoholic assholes :P
We talked, we joked, we shared our problems with our friends and some eventually got emotional. Although people might think we are just teenagers, what major problem concerns us? Well there are. A good time out is essential at times :) But friends are always there for us no matter what which makes us feel so secure and we are not alone, at all :) Just a very warm feeling where you felt a sense of belonging. All the unnecessary conflicts earlier were forgotten and we had a good time chilling out :)
I'm feeling traumatised by this now...
For all of my friends that shared this 3 days 2 nights trip with me, I would really like to express my heartfelt thanks to all of you :) Thank you for being there when I needed someone to talk to and thanks for all the things you guys had done for me. I'll never forget that memorable night. While I was writing this post, I suddenly thought of the song Graduation. Every single line of it touches my heart and it makes me feel very sad that this chapter would end soon. I never expect I would find so many good friends around in St. Xavier's. Still that word, I did not regret F6 even though I failed my maths in STPM.. LOL!
Friends, do take care always and I'm proud to say, CLTC was a success. Regardless of what we were labeled as, no one knows how memorable this trip was to us. I'm happy everyone returned home safe and sound even though there was some "dirty thing" that got near us. Lets hope that we can revive times like this in the near future :D Cheers to all CHIKOS!!
ps, CLTC actually stands for CHIKOS LEADERSHIP TRAINING CAMP :D
The End
