Reflection

The day finally came and one year had breezed through in a blink of an eye. Here I was once again or rather I should say, the very last time I was going to step into Penang Watersports Centre for an orientation camp, and it was not any ordinary camp for that matter, it's B.O.L O.C 06/07. And after this year, the chapter of my schooling life will come to an end.

There was a very nostalgic feeling out of a sudden when I stepped into this place.
I was here last year for the very first time, bearing the status of a participant. And I was here again a couple of days ago, for the very last time, as part of the organizing committees.

Maybe this should be the very last time I had the chance to wear this:

Ai Geok, Phaik Har, Lee Lee and I spent the whole morning of our Friday to get this nametags done! It was a last minute job but it turned out well anyway. Though Ryan protested for the word "ah" to be existed before his Kam but too bad, majority wins! :P I really want to express my gratitude to these girls that had helped me, so much!

I reached the camp slightly later than the schedule planned, cuz I had Buddhist Society AGM on before that. I read out my last report and stepped down my position as a secretary with a mixed feeling. Another year has gone, again. And it somewhat felt a little bit, sad when Robert thanked his 2 secretaries, then suddenly, I felt it worths all the times we were here.

At the camp, our very first agenda after pemecahan ais was station games where I was positioned in the Food Charade Station, or better known as Kiam Pia Horror :P My co-station masters were Ryan and Anu. LOL! I hope this works. :P

I agree totally this picture looks noob, that's the fun of it anyway! LOL! But look at the scenery behind this pose, amazing isn't it, with the daun sepoi-sepoi on top of me.

This is like the most sempoi station as you can see the funniest side of a human to speak when there were crackers in their mouth WHILE saying a tongue twister. But it ain't funny when the crackers started flying to your face! :P

Later the night was time for C.S.I, where the participants had to solve a murdering case of Jin Chuen. Most of the committees took part in this session and it was a fun time for all of us to prank them with our distorted hints and false statement :P People called Siew Lay, Wei Lian and I gossipers but we called ourselves Datin(sss) in the sketch. LOL!

Behind us were Hock, the long haired sadist & Kah Whai, the deaf and mute janitor!
Who killed Jin Chuen?? The truth shall be revealed on the 2nd night!

That was basically the end of our first night. Oh~another splendid day had gone. Just before I doze off, I saw Chen Wei practicing his aerobic moves, for Calisthenics the next day :P

One of the most thank goodness thing throughout the camp was my Seniors' Session, Spill Ur Nuts was successful!! It was a fun time cheating those people, especially Joshua Fabianna! LOL! 120 nuts for a can of Kekwa and 110 nuts for a packet of Mamee :P when for others, 115 nuts could have gotten cans of coke and Bebe(ssss)! LOL! But I really want to thank all the seniors that had helped me out throught that session, Li Cheng, Alan, Chee Keong and especially Ryan for all the cheatings he had done! :D Not missing out my admin team, LOL, Kah Whai, Zhi Xiang, Siew Lay and Wei Lian! Without you guys, this session would be a cricket sound moment! :P We even auctioned Sir's banana! Peel banana, peel peel banana~ :P

Speaking about this auction session, there are 2 people I can't miss out, Boon and Hock, the property managers! They are the most berjasa d, for all the shoppings that they had done for me. In ka si the both of them nowadays.

Then after that was Wet Station Games. The committees were divided into 2 groups, naming ourselves, Sleep Tight and Sweet Dreams, tribute to my night gown being slashed into strips as blindfolds! Ahahaha! And Sleep Tight pawned everyone!

Later at night, the murderers of Jin Chuen were revealed. Who killed him?

Then it came to the reflection time. Lights off, soothing music and burning candles.

The fire isn't just burning the candle, but the times we have. For each second that it burns, it silently burns away the time we have left for this life.

To the fellow incomings, this reflection could probably mean to reflect back the past 2 days of the times in the camp but to us, the organizing committees, the reflection was not just meant for these 2 days that we had spent, but 3 months ago when we started planning everything ahead of us. All the staying backs on Friday in a packed workroom, just to make sure everything about the camp runs well.

After that, we stayed up till 4 am for the BBQ thing, though not all of us. The lamb was so so so so NICE! YUM YUM!! And guess what? I learnt to chak chicken wings with satay sticks. I used to wait for people to do that for me! :P

Okay, finally it came to the very last day of our camp. The weird thing was, last year, I couldn't wait for the time to get home and get my ass outta Watersports! Somehow this time, it's the other way round, hope I could still spend another day or 2 there. We took some crazy and exotic poses here and there before proceeding to our very last agenda. Angels revealed. Ngek ngek*

Go Go Power Rangers!!!

Okay, I was in a doubt if Den realised that I was his angel, cuz you see, he's a bit steam. heehehe! Anyway he had to leave early and there was no fun adee. At first, although I was a little bit reluctant to leave this camp but I was still okay. Until I got my affirmation letters and I read what Sir had written for me, while the song It Ends Tonight was played, I suddenly felt very emotional. Couldn't hold them back. Then I read Ai Geok and Ryan's messages for me and it set me thinking for the messages they dropped me last year. Thanking me for what I'd done for the group, Oceanus last year. And this year, all of us were in a team again, but this time as the organizers of the camp. Last year's OC, I was totally new and didn't really know that much people. But friendship had started to blossom so beautifully as time went by and all of us agreed that it was fate that brought all of us together into BOL.

I'm sure I'm gonna miss all the times I had here with my friends. All of them. I wonder how would I feel in a decade to come, if I would ever step into Watersports again? I'm sure all the memories will play in my mind like a film without sound. I mean, which of the time in the future you think you might have to be able to run crazily around the campsite, holding a hailer and shout, Go Go Power Rangers~ ???

To me, between men and women, there's always a bond more sacred than a boy-girl relationship thing. Friendship is so simple yet so enchanting. No worries and just be happy :D Every friendship is like a story. We had such a wonderful beginning and I wish it'll never have an ending.
